Most radio websites feel like control panels with a play button.
You already solved streaming. What listeners see is another story: a bare embed widget, a rented page-builder site, or a heavy WordPress theme. Fortesonic is the missing website layer — a product-grade listener experience that runs on your own domain and your own server.
Embed widgets look rented
Default public pages and iframe embeds lose your branding and bury your station on someone else's URL.
SaaS site builders never stop charging
Hosted radio website builders cost hundreds of euros every year — and the site disappears the day you stop paying.
WordPress themes drag a whole stack
Database, plugins, page builders, constant updates — a lot of machinery for one radio page.
Everything a serious station needs. Nothing it doesn't.
A complete listener-facing platform, engineered as clean PHP and vanilla JavaScript with no framework overhead.
Live player, multi-bitrate
Play, stop, volume and seamless quality switching across 64–320 kbps streams.
Sleep timer
Set 15 minutes to an hour — the sound fades out, the stream stops, and a quiet notice says good night. The countdown even survives a page reload.
Real-time Now Playing
Artwork, artist and title update live, with year, genre, BPM and musical key pills when available.
Broadcast history
A server-rendered 24-hour archive with artwork and stats — fast first paint, crawlable by search engines.
Universal music links
Tracks link out to Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube Music and more via Song.link.
Installable PWA
Listeners add your station to their home screen on iOS and Android. Mobile data saver switches to 64 kbps automatically.
Song requests
A polished request flow with rate limiting and CSRF protection built in — no third-party forms.
TV mode & pop-out player
A full-screen display for lounges and studios, plus a compact pop-out player for desktop multitaskers.
Listener assistant, zero API keys
An on-site chatbot that answers from your station's own knowledge base — current track, features, station info. No OpenAI account, no per-message fees, no data leaving your server.
Audio that never stops
App-shell navigation keeps the music playing while listeners browse the history, changelog and legal pages.
Dark & light themes
Dark and light out of the box — and the entire palette recolors from one config object to match your station brand. No CSS edits.
Shows & podcasts
Curated Selections and Radio Shows from your AzuraCast schedule, with live countdowns to what's next and the latest podcast episode — look-ahead is yours to set, from today only to days in advance.
Listen in your own player
Downloadable .pls playlist links let listeners open the stream in VLC, Winamp or any media player — at 64, 128, 256 or 320 kbps.
Instagram follow button
An optional floating button that sends listeners straight to your station's Instagram — one URL in config, one toggle to show or hide it.
Listener map & weather
A live world map of your audience and a local weather widget — both optional, both one toggle away.
Accessible & SEO-ready
WCAG AA contrast, keyboard navigation, JSON-LD structured data, canonical URLs and a sitemap out of the box.
Your tracks link everywhere.
Every song your station plays gets a universal Song.link — listeners open it in the service they already use.
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- YouTube Music
- SoundCloud
- Tidal
- Amazon Music
Platform logos identify third-party services that Song.link track links can open — Deezer, Pandora and others are supported too. All trademarks belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
See what your listeners get.
One platform, every screen: a player that feels like a product, a history your listeners browse, a station that installs on their phone and owns the living-room TV.

Live in three steps. No developer required.
Upload
Copy the files to any PHP hosting via FTP or your control panel. PHP 8+, HTTPS and cURL — that's the whole checklist.
Configure
Open one config file. Set your stream URLs, station name, logo and colors. Toggle features on or off with booleans.

Questions, answered.
Why Fortesonic instead of a SaaS website builder?
Because you own the solution. Hosted radio builders charge 440 € or more every single year for a template page on their platform — stop paying and your site is gone. Fortesonic is a one-time license on your own domain: the premium player, broadcast history, song requests, PWA install and TV mode are yours forever. And if you'd rather not manage anything, the Fortissimo plan puts the same white-label site on our server.
How secure is Fortesonic?
Security ships configured, not promised. There is no database to breach and no user accounts to leak. Every write endpoint is protected with CSRF tokens, origin checks and per-client rate limiting; API strings are sanitized before touching the page; and the included .htaccess enforces HTTPS + HSTS, hardened headers and clean URLs out of the box.
What if something fails — will my station stay online?
Fortesonic is built to keep working. If your stream API goes down, the site switches to a clean offline state instead of breaking — and recovers by itself. The license is perpetual, so the software never stops working, even if you never renew support. On the Fortissimo plan we go further: core and security updates are applied automatically, so there is nothing for you to maintain.
Will Fortesonic run on my hosting?
Almost certainly. It needs PHP 8+, HTTPS and the cURL extension — standard on virtually every shared hosting plan. There is no database and no Node.js on the server, so there is nothing else to provision. Or skip hosting questions entirely with the Fortissimo plan.
Which streaming platforms are supported?
Fortesonic is built for AzuraCast — artwork, history and queue come straight from the public AzuraCast API. Native support for plain SHOUTcast/Icecast hosts such as Streamerr (with server-side artwork lookup, history tracking and metadata normalization) is in active development. Running SHOUTcast or Icecast? Write to us and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits your setup yet.
What's the difference between Mezzo, Forte and Fortissimo?
All three include the complete feature set. Mezzo (99 € one-time) keeps a small “Powered by Fortesonic” footer link. Forte (199 € one-time) is 100% white-label — your brand only. Fortissimo (299 €/year, all-in) is the white-label site on our managed NVMe server, with installation, SSL, Cloudflare CDN and automatic core & security updates included.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. Installation is an FTP upload, and all customization lives in one configuration file: stream URLs, station name, logo, colors and feature toggles. If you'd rather not touch it at all, add the 49 € installation service — or choose Fortissimo, where we do everything.
What happens after my 12 months of updates end?
Your website keeps working — the license is perpetual. Renewing at 59 €/year is optional and gets you continued updates and email support. On the Fortissimo plan updates are automatic for as long as the hosting runs.
Can I make it fully mine — colors, logo, name?
Yes — that's the point. The entire color system, logo, station identity, stream qualities and individual features (listener map, requests, weather, the no-API-key listener assistant) are set in a single config object. No code edits, no rebuild step. Forte and Fortissimo also remove all Fortesonic branding.
What's your refund policy?
If Fortesonic can't be made to work on a hosting environment that meets the requirements and our support can't fix it, you get your money back within 14 days of purchase. Fortissimo hosting can be cancelled any time before the next billing year. Details in the refund policy.
