Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy describes what personal data is processed when you visit fortesonic.com or purchase a Fortesonic license, and what rights you have. The website is operated by, and the data controller is, Weboperater PR, Mileševska 14, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia.
1. What we collect on this website
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for profiling.
- Email correspondence. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to support you and comply with legal obligations.
- Order form. Details you submit through the order form (name, email, station and order selection) are sent to us by email and used solely to process your order. When enabled, the form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which processes technical data (including IP address) under Google's privacy policy to distinguish humans from bots.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through
Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used in aggregate — pages viewed,
approximate location, device type and referral source. Its cookies (for example
_ga) load only after you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline — the default — Google Analytics runs in privacy-preserving consent mode and stores no cookies or identifiers. When enabled, it sends technical data to Google, which uses your IP address to estimate your approximate location without storing it, under its own privacy policy. We do not use it to identify you personally. - Advertising. If you accept, we also use Google Ads (via Tag Manager) to measure how well our ads work — for example, whether a visit that came from an ad led to a purchase. This may set advertising cookies and share conversion data with Google under its own privacy policy. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set. We never sell your data.
These analytics and advertising cookies load only with your consent. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use, its purpose and how long it lasts, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
2. Purchases and delivery
Payment is processed by PayPal, which acts as an independent data controller for the transaction: it receives the data required to complete the payment (name, email, billing details and payment method) and processes it under the PayPal Privacy Statement. We receive your name, email and order details so we can deliver the license, updates and support — we never see your full payment card or PayPal login data.
Your download package is served from Backblaze B2 cloud storage through a temporary, expiring link generated for your order; no personal data of yours is stored there.
3. The Fortesonic software and your listeners
The Software you license is self-hosted: it runs on your server, and we have no access to it or to your listeners' data. By design it requires no listener accounts and keeps no tracking database; the only technical data it processes are short-lived hashed IP identifiers used for request rate limiting, and the optional listener map rounds location coordinates to roughly one kilometer before display. As the station operator, you are the data controller for your own website.
4. Legal bases and retention
We process purchase and support data to perform our contract with you, and retain invoicing data as required by tax law. Server logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict processing, subject to legal retention duties. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
